Minding Creative Minds is a mentoring and support programme for Ireland’s creative sector, designed to help emerging artists and creatives build confidence, develop their ideas and take the next step in their creative careers.

 

As a mentor, I draw on decades of experience as a professional songwriter, recording artist, performer and creative facilitator to support artists as they navigate the realities of a career in the creative industries.

 

Working together over a series of one-to-one or small-group mentoring sessions, I help artists build the foundations of a professional creative career. This can include developing a clear artistic identity, writing biographies and artist profiles, presenting their work professionally, creating a strong body of work, planning recordings and releases, preparing for live performances, identifying opportunities, growing an audience, building an online presence and developing a long-term career strategy.

 

Every mentoring journey is different. Some artists come with songs, ideas or projects already underway, while others are just beginning to find their voice. My role is to offer practical guidance, honest feedback and encouragement, helping each artist move forward with greater clarity, confidence and purpose.
