Join me for a series of free, welcoming songwriting workshops designed for adults of all experience levels. Whether you’re writing your first song or have years of songwriting experience, each workshop offers practical tools, creative inspiration and a supportive space to explore your ideas through song.
Each workshop is completely standalone, so you can attend whichever date suits you—or join us for all three.
Together we’ll explore songwriting structure, lyric writing, melody, developing ideas, and turning them into original songs. Through guided exercises, creative prompts and collaborative discussion, you’ll gain practical songwriting techniques while developing your own unique creative voice.

The workshops are free of charge but booking is essential as places are limited.

The Creative Ireland Community Songwriting workshops are part of a Creative Ireland aniatiative presented in partnership with Carlow County Library. The programme aims to make songwriting accessible to everyone by creating welcoming opportunities for adults to explore their creativity, delvelop new skills, connect with others, and experience the joy of writing original songs regardless of previous musical experience.
No musical instrument or previous songwriting experience is required. However, those who play an instrument are encouraged to bring it along.
