MISP Songcamp | Luan Parle, Thomas Donoghue & Geoff Warner-Clayton

This behind-the-scenes documentary follows the creative journey of the MISP Song Camp, bringing together Luan Parle, Thomas Donoghue, and Jeff Warner Clayton during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Supported through the MISP Song Camp Grant, the initiative provided funding for professional songwriters and artists to write, record, and produce original music at a time when the music industry had come to an almost complete standstill. With live performances cancelled and creative opportunities on hold, the grant offered vital support, allowing artists to continue creating, collaborating, and developing new work during an exceptionally challenging period.

More than simply documenting the finished songs, this film offers an intimate insight into the collaborative songwriting process, capturing creative discussions, studio sessions, and interviews with the artists as they reflect on inspiration, resilience, and the importance of creativity during an unprecedented time.

The project is a celebration of collaboration, perseverance, and the enduring power of music to connect people, even in the most uncertain of circumstances.
