The single ‘PARADE’ is Luáns first release since her very successful debut album “Free” which she spent almost two years touring, visiting radio / TV stations and doing press interviews. The album spawned a hugely popular Top 10 hit single (“Ghost”) and paved the way for a most promising future and career as one of Ireland’s leading artists. Luán finished touring the album towards the end of 2008.
For 2009, Luan is concentrating, almost exclusively, on writing and recording a new body of work for the next studio album using her now established experience and credentials in terms of creative control over the upcoming sound. Apart from her own songwriting and production input she collaborates with notable industry “legends” such as: CHRIS KIMSEY (renowned producer for THE ROLLING STONES, INXS, DURAN DURAN etc.), HAL LINDES (formerly DIRE STRAITS, now an award winning film and TV score composer) and BILL BOTTRELL (renowned producer for SHERYL CROW, MICHAEL JACKSON, MADONNA, SHELBY LYNNE etc.).
